Press Release: The Comedy Cruise Sails On!Some may say that the on-going Cleanup of Boston Harbor may temporarily run aground this summer. But it's all in fun because Mike Meli and Boston Harbor Cruises have agreed to once again set sail with the Comedy Cruise - presented by the originator, Boston's own Red Peters. From 1982 to the early 1990s, many of the nation's top comics made the 3-hour Comedy Cruise one of the most sought after summer tickets on the Boston entertainment scene. Names like Lenny Clarke, Steve Sweeney, Rich Jeni, John Pinette, Frank Santorelli and many more were headliners on those legendary shows.
We're happy to report that Red Peters, the comic singer with two hit comedy CDs under his belt, has agreed to once again bring The Comedy Cruise back to Boston Harbor for three exciting shows.
The Comedy Cruise returned to Boston for the Summer of 2001 and all four cruises were sell-outs! Each three-hour cruise featured sets by two of the nations funniest comedians and performances by Red Peters with the Babe Marino Band and his back-up singers, The Delicious Dips and occasional unannounced guests. This summer, the cruises will be conducted aboard the beautifully appointed catamaran the MS Aurora. These seats will be VERY HOT indeed. Although the ship can accommodate 400 passengers, the seating will be limited to 150 to assure comfort and intimacy for the lucky guests.
The schedule for Summer 2002
All shows are 21+ and tickets are $32.00. Cash bar. In Other NewsRed Peters is in talks with certain well connected movers and shakers to explore his options in the area of television and film opportunities. More information will be forthcoming. |
